Galactic Vikings finally found home!
Since time immemorial, the Vikings has roamed the galaxy in various groups and various numbers. Now, a delegation of our Feudal governing forces has taken places at the table of Power in Valhaling, a system in the populated bubble of space. And now is the time to rejoice.
In this system, according to secure sources, there are several Factions represented.
The Faction controlling Valhaling is Valhaling Silver Electronics Int. In addition to this faction, there are 2 minor factions; the confederacy of Independent Valhaling Coalition and the anarchic Valhaling Brotherhood. From what Heimskringla can figure out, all the factions in Valhaling has Valhaling as home system, and are native to this system. That could indicate a real tough struggle for the Galactic Vikings force if we are to take control of the system.
Colonel Otto LaBeuf Dirge of the Galactic Vikings Collective Security Department stated very clearly:
Just to be clear on this. These Factions are not in this system to help us. These factions are not in any way positive to our wealth, growth or freedom. They are in our way, and we have got to kick them out.
Per now, the only way to kick them out is by running trade, and by running missions for our faction operatives.
We have a current standing of approx 35% influence now, and our esteemed colleague and scout, Commander Iplod, reports that our influence is rising.
Esquire Avianna Andrews said:
Still, I implore you to do your best to boost our influence in this system. Do this by running missions for our faction, and our faction only.
All trade will also benefit the station owner, and that is not us yet. Exploration Data sold in this system will also benefit the controlling faction.
So, run missions. We are yet small, and benefits for running missions are perhaps small, but as our standing in this system rises, so shall the rewards.
In time, we will be powerfull enough to contest the leadership of the Valhaling Silver Electronics Int, and perhaps relieve them of the prerogative.
Many of the residents of Valhaling sees the coming of the Galactic Vikings as a salvation. The systemwide famine and low trade trends has been turned into a boost on all stations. People at Ferguson Prospect has declared October 10th to be a local holiday, and are already planning next years costume ball, where it is expected that the majority of the participants will be dressed in some sort of Viking related attire. There has been talks with local farmers with livestock to prepare some extraordinarily rare traditional recipies.
Representative for the Pilot Collective, Wing Commander Ramforth appeared stoic when he was approached by Heimskringla.
We will make this system a home system, based on our traditional values of respect, equality and prosperity. Trade will bloom, and the system will be secure. Even so, factions or groups that resist this change will be met with stern and absolute measures. This is our home. And we are the ones that can see to its continuing growth.
Pioneers CMDR Iplod and CMDR Aerondir has been scouting the entire system, and are reporting to Heimskringla via long range relay comms that Garn Settlement in our system is Uncontrolled. There is shortage in food and wealth. People are suffering. And the Tachmetae Future are en route with the majority of their considerate transport fleet to take benefit of the situation. There is speculations that they are smuggling in Narcotics, bad food and other items to further worsen the situation for the people of Garn Settlement.
If this is true, the Vikings WILL make amendments. Rest assured. Said Commander Oxforth, when confronted with the news.
And, if the Tachmetae Future think they can get away with this atrocity – they are very much mistaken.
From what Heimskringlas understand of Commander Oxforth’s hasty departure and immediate call to action in the Galactic Counsil, the people of Garn Settlement will be better off within a short period of time. He looked determined.
More on these news later.
