#CMDR OXFORTH – GV KRAKEN – Location: Edison Hub, Luhman 16 – 6.5ly from Sol#
Today has been a fun day. I’ve met new friends and desimated foes!
Through the information forums of the Hutton Orbital Truckers I made contact with one CMDR POISONER. We made a deal to meet up in the Luhman 16 system and fight for the Hutton cause in the Conflict Zones. Once there I joined a wing along with some crazy german fellows from the Collective of Independent Agents. A very friendly, “chatty chatty bang bang” sort of gang.
This was my first real opportunity to test our GV KRAKEN, the Galactic Vikings Navy’s most recent addition, a soon-to-be Annihilator-class Corvette.
Sad to say, I managed to fuck it up royally and get my hindquarters spanked right to Hel (yes, the one with only one “L”).
No matter, I have funds for rebuys aplenty, but I scampered back to Jameson Memorial in Shinrarta Dezhra and refitted KRAKEN to handle the High Intensity Combat Zones better.
With some helpful tips and heavy fire from my new friends I managed to stay alive for the rest of the mission. I’ve recieved several more tips on how to fine-tune the Corvettes lethality and I will be looking into it in the coming days. There is also a lot of engineering to be done.
I’ve taken the liberty to propose a coalition with this player group based on our common alliance to the Hutton Orbital Truckers and because we’ve shed the blood of our enemies together. I hope they accept our proposal and that the alliance will be rewarding for both parties.
