Message from the Galactic Vikings Command Team

As brothers and sisters of the Galactic Vikings, we stand at a crossroads. The Sol system, the cradle of humanity, stands in the shadow of an unimaginable threat. Titan Cocijo, the harbinger of devastation, sets its course for Sol.

It is not merely a system under threat—it is the birthplace of us all. Our honor and heritage compel us to answer this call to arms.

The Battle Ahead

The Federal government has sounded the alarm, and though we are an independent people, our duty binds us together. We may sail under no master but our own, yet the bonds of humanity unite us.

To every Viking, whether you fly the sleekest scout or the mightiest warship, prepare your vessels for the coming storm. Outfit them with passenger cabins, for the lives of countless innocents depend on us.

Evacuation and Defense

The evacuation must proceed with all speed—Sol must not fall. Our longhouses will remain empty today, for our courage and cunning will see those in peril delivered to safety at V886 Centauri.

Our foes are legion. The Thargoid fleet will darken the stars above Sol, but we are Vikings—unbowed and unbroken. Let the roar of our engines be a hymn of defiance. Let our resolve echo through the void, as we shield the home of humanity with our steel and our spirit.

A Battle for Heritage

This is no ordinary fight. It is a battle for heritage, for the dreams of those who dared to reach for the stars, for the future of every free soul across the galaxy.

We stand united—not just as Vikings, but as a part of humanity’s unyielding tapestry. Together, we will fight, we will endure, and we will prevail.

The Call to Arms

Prepare yourselves, warriors. Assemble in the Sol system. Let us show the galaxy what it means to wear the name Galactic Viking.

Aiding the CIA in aiding the Hutton Truckers

Since the Head of HOT, Alvin Defeer, openly stated that all Hutton wars should be won, the aggressiveness shown by the Truckers has been off the scale.
There are numerous systems in war, with numerous opposing factions. Our common friends in the CIA has invited us to join in the effort for Hutton.screenshot_0268

 

WCMDR Ramforth and CMDR Oxforth joined in the Combat Zones around Kappa-1 Ceti 1D on Friday night, and managed to kill a few of the opposing forces.

CIVIL WAR PENDING

The Galactic Vikings are facing civil war.

We’ve pushed the Valhaling Silver Electronics Int into war in order to kick their asses and assume command of the system.

The orders from our Director of Domestic Affairs, CMDR IPLOD, states that we are to boost the Galactic Viking influence as much as possible to stage a coup.

It’s of the utmost importance that we boost ONLY the Galactic Vikings for the next three days as the Civil War is pending. As soon as it breaks loose we will update you with new orders.

A little note on the war efforts

As of yesterday, the 16th of october, the Combat Zones have moved away from the Valhaling 1 planet. They are now somewhere close to Valhaling 6, and you have to get quite close to the planet to spot them.

In addition to that, the Tachmetae Future deployed a Colossal war machine into the Combat Zone yesterday. Shortly thereafter, the Galactic Vikings deployed a Majesty Class Interdictor, the Implacable, to balance the odds.

There hasn’t been such a display of power on our part since the Battle of Four Stars.
When WCMDR Ramforth returned to Ferguson Prospect, with some hull damage and without a canopy on his Anaconda, the Titans were still having at it in the CZ, not relenting one bit.

War is going well for the Galactic Vikings.

Though this is not a surprise for anyone, and perhaps not news as such. Never the less, it is worth mentioning that we are winning massively.
In fact we are winning by such numbers, we might just swing a coup on the controlling faction of Valhaling and thus take controll of the system without a second war.
How about that?
Actually, as Vikings, we should maybe ease off the trigger for a moment just to let the second war happen.
But if history has taught us anyhting, it must be that Vikings don’t back out from a fight.
So, the ongoing war will be fought with such ferocity that the Tachmetae Future will seek a new system to call home, even if they are a local faction.
To arms brothers! And let the axes fall ferociously and frequently! Let them all see what the Vikings can do!

In all fairness, we have had some help in the war. Heimskringla would like to report one Commander Seren Du of the Welsh Dragon Wing of Alpha Fornacis, who has returned 82 combat bonds during the war thus far. He will be recomended to the Viking Wall of Honor.

Yes, war is upon us in Valhaling. Wether we like it or love it.
We are at war with the Tachmetae Future, who recently were caught red handed while trafficing drugs in to Garn Settlement.
We will show them how that goes!

Pending WAR in Valhaling

682px-orcsPending state for our faction is now war, and it has been for a few days. At the BGS “tick” tomorrow (that is when the servers adds up the numbers, and shifts the states) we might be at war. We need to get as many missions as humanly possible in to our officials before that “tick”. The more percentages we lead by, the easier the war effort will be.

SO! All hands on deck, and stand ready at the tick!

We have earlier been a large contributor to the success for Hutton Truckers war for Bonkers station.
Last time, we gave the opponents  hell! One of our  esteemed pilots ranked  highest of all,and much glory was bestowed upon our group.
Now, that won the Hutton Truckers the Minne Orbital Station, if memory serves. This is because of some intricate in-game dynamics. Read more “Wolf 25,The Hutton Truckers and the lack of axes presence”

While war rages in the Wolf 25 system, we are asked (politely) to refrain from further hostile actions in the Conflict Zones of Wolf 25 for the time being. The reason for  this has to do with tactics, and are somewhat unclear to us as of now.
Instead we are asked to help fortify the Hutton Truckers’ presence in the PSPF-LF 2 system, not far away.

Actions in the PSPF-LF 2 system consists of missions and bounty hunting. Missions can be obtained through the mission board at Salgari Depot. Bounties are primarily for the Hutton Truckers, so beware who you have in your crosshairs when you are out there.
